Carlo Ancelotti: Be patient, Endrick

Endrick faced stiff competition to break into the starting XI Real Madrid. Brazilian player Carlo Ancelotti has been asked to be patient.

In Madrid this season, Endrick never started. He has played six times and scored two goals.

Endrick’s last contribution was the reason for receiving a penalty during Madrid’s 4-1 win against Espanyol while playing at the Santiago Bernabeu, on Saturday (21/9/2024). Mbappe was the man who took the penalty.

Endrick he only played in the 84th minute of that game. He replaced Rodrygo. Endridk was fouled in the penalty box in the 90th minute.

Ancelotti was asked by reporters about the possibility of playing Endrick from the start. He also asked the 18-year-old player to be patient.

“On the one hand, I am unfair because he is training well, he has high quality… but on the other hand, he has Rodrygo, Vinicius, Mbappe in front of him…” Ancelotti said in the Mark.

Endrick brought in by Madrid from Palmeiras in the summer. It was bought for 35 million euros. The transfer value could increase by 25 million euros if the included contracts can be fulfilled.
