Carla Bruni: I’d drink like an Irish sailor if I didn’t have to think about health and this crazy sobriety ᐉ News from Fakti.bg – Curiosi

Supermodel, singer and former first lady of France Carla Bruni posed for the French magazine Elle and gave an interview in which she talked about her relationship with 67-year-old Nicolas Sarkozy, the healthy lifestyle she is forced to maintain and of the glamor of the era of the top models of the 90s, writes BGNES.

In the interview, 54-year-old Bruni admits that she always dreamed of being famous and believed in her success. She considers herself a lucky person and she says she is also lucky in her personal life. The star calls her husband “the most confident person” she has ever met.

According to Carla, before meeting with a politician, she was afraid of a serious relationship (before that she had such a relationship only with the father of her child, Raphael Entovin). But in 2007 she met Sarkozy and married him a few months later.

“Great love is like a kind of refuge: if we lose it, we just perish,” says Bruni. According to her, when you love a person and focus on them, “life gets hectic.”

She defines her feelings for her husband with the word “addiction”. “Over all these years, nothing has changed much, even physically everything is still great,” she shared the heroine in an interview.

Carla acknowledges that beauty has helped her succeed, but is convinced that “inner flame” is much more important than external attractiveness. With this inner fire, according to the celeb, she’s fine, but she also puts a lot of time and effort into her looks. Although she admits that she is not satisfied with the need to exercise two hours a day and minimize the amount of alcohol. “If I didn’t have to think about health and stick to this crazy sobriety, I could drink like an Irish sailor,” Bruni revealed.

Carla nostalgically recalls the heyday of supermodels: the peak of her modeling career came in the early 90s, when she was 20 years old. “I was very happy, I could laugh all day,” says Bruni. “It was a lucky time, the era of supermodels. We became famous overnight, so out of nowhere, without too much effort or merit. Just great! I really liked that life, but it’s for 20-somethings. I was living without bags, making five trips a week”.

Carla was one of the most in-demand models in the 90s along with Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer, Linda Evangelista and other supermodels. At the time, she was one of the top 20 highest paid models in the world, earning $7.5 million a year. Bruni has collaborated with Christian Dior, Givenchy, Paco Rabanne, Sonia Rykiel, Christian Lacroix, Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel and Versace. And today Carla’s look remains one of the landmarks in the fashion world: her 90s image of her was copied from Bella Hadid.

Carla would like to “remain immature but acquire wisdom”. “In 20 years, I hope I’m alive and not in the worst shape,” she says.

Carla Bruni and Nicolas Sarkozy got married in 2008, when Sarkozy was already president of France. They held the wedding at the Elysee Palace. In 2011, the couple had a daughter, whom they named Julia.
