Even when your name is Carla Bruni, you suffer from imposter syndrome. The former model expressed the doubts she felt before walking in the Victoria’s Secret fashion show on October 15 in New York. She explained herself this Friday October 19 on his Instagram account. Nicolas Sarkozy’s wife posted a photo from the end of the show in which she can be seen wearing a black lace jumpsuit alongside other models from the show, including Eva Herzigova, 51. In the caption of her post, she shares her feelings: “At first, I was afraid: am I really going to parade in lingerie at 56? Is this appropriate? Am I bordering on ridiculousness?”.
Fortunately, stress gave way to joy for the former first lady who marched with her friends. “But as soon as I arrived, my fear turned into excitement: what a pleasure to take part in a legendary fashion show that now chooses to include all kinds of women. Women of all ages, shapes and genders. Thank you to the extraordinary artists who sang and danced as we marched. Thank you for giving all women the opportunity to be themselves […] The fashion world has changed its perception of women, perfection now resembles our differences and that feels good…” Indeed, Victoria’s Secret has learned its lessons by showing inclusiveness by having all women parade. Victoria’s Secret Show: a parade full of stars
Carla Bruni wasn’t the only celebrity to parade that evening.
