Caritas Diocesana of Coria-Cáceres, participates in the project to implement the methodology of the Vital Plan for Social Inclusion, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, a joint initiative of the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migrations, the Ministry of Health and Social Services, and the University of Extremadura.
The objective of the Vital Plan is to improve the quality of life of women between 18 and 45 years old, recipients of the Minimum Living Income or the Extremadura Guaranteed Income through the design and development of social and labor inclusion itineraries, which allow their definitive insertion. At the same time, through the implementation of this methodology, it will allow us to know the reality of these people, to be able to analyze and improve public policies that promote the social inclusion of the most vulnerable people.
The actions to be developed will take the form of support processes so that the participants overcome situations of social difficulty; They will cover a set of diverse areas, related to the field of health, housing, education, employment, accessibility, energy solutions, etc.…
Caritas Diocesana of Coria-Cáceres, as an entity that has experience in social intervention with vulnerable people to whom this methodology is directed, has a management structure, territory and solid human resources, convinced of the need to implement this type of actions, since beyond economic provision, comprehensive and personalized attention to people will allow them to achieve better social and labor inclusion.
