Review
During this long period of time, Cáritas has been able to adapt to an increasingly changing reality in order to fulfill its mission of accompanying the people who suffer the most from inequality and poverty on the margins of society. For this reason, as Pope Francis said in the September 5 audience with the General Council, he has earned “the respect of Spanish society, beyond their beliefs and ideologies.”
A service that continues in the present and opens up to a hopeful future. This jubilee is intended to be, on the one hand, a grateful memory for so much love donated, for so many people who entrusted their lives and their generosity to our institution; and, on the other, an opportune time to discern new paths when facing the new challenges of poverty and exclusion, both inside and outside our borders.
