Mikati also met with the Minister of Public Works and Transport, Ali Hamiyah, who explained after the meeting that “we discussed the necessity of increasing the allocations allocated to the ministry in the 2024 budget, because there is an urgent need to carry out emergency maintenance work on the roads, and through the proposed budget we cannot do any work.” He expressed Mikati agreed that this matter should be researched to find the appropriate solution.”
