KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Some people who have been infected with the coronavirus experience symptoms that last weeks or months after the infection clears up. This post-covid condition is known as long-term covid.
How long it takes to recover from Covid-19 varies from person to person.
Many people with Covid-19 can feel better within a few days or weeks, with most making a full recovery within 12 weeks. But, for some people, the symptoms can last longer even though they have been tested negative and are not contagious.
The likelihood of having these long-term symptoms does not appear to be related to how badly or sick a person was when they first contracted Covid-19.
