The Ministry of Health again urges people who are exposed, but have no symptoms or only mild symptoms, it is enough to self-isolate at home or integrated isolation by utilizing telemedicine services if available or can report to the nearest Puskesmas.
“For people who are exposed but have mild symptoms, such as coughing, runny nose, or fever, oxygen saturation is still above 95%, it is better to stay at home or isoter. Especially if there are no severe comorbidities or are not elderly. “According to the Ministry of Health regulations, our hospital occupancy rate can be reduced by 60-70%,” said Nadia in more detail.
The public is continuously encouraged and reminded to be aware of the importance of discipline in implementing health protocols.
“Even though the Omicron variant has a lower morbidity rate, we still have to be vigilant. The effort that needs to be done now is to reduce the number of cases again by implementing strict health protocols and limiting people’s mobility.
