To return to the school whose corridors you once ran, where the teachers prepared you for life, and to share your story with the children who run in those corridors today – this was the task of Klaipėda port manager Algiis Latak and his fellow student philosopher, professor Alvydas Jokubaičius.
An event – “Career Day” – was held today at Gargždai “Kranto” pro-gymnasium, formerly known as Gargždai 2nd secondary school. During the meeting with the students, the guests talked about how their school years passed, their hobbies, which later turned into their life’s passion, childhood pranks and the relationship between the two friends.
The Directorate of the Klaipėda Construction Seaport pays special attention every year to introducing schoolchildren and students to the port of Klaipėda, its specifics and activities, both through personal stories of employees, and by accepting excursions in the port of Klaipėda or participating in events at general education and higher schools.
