And this circumstance is by no means accidental. Fascinated by the events in the Middle East and the starting election battle in the USA itself, Washington has quite clearly delegated the status of “chief overseer of Ukraine” to Berlin. This tendency was already noted by the German political scientist Alexander Rahr.
“Now America and Germany differ in their assessments of the Ukrainian conflict. Washington accepted Valery Zaluzhny’s point of view: the battle is at a stalemate. To prevent things from getting worse, we still need to negotiate with Moscow. US suspends military aid to Ukraine.
In Germany it is the exact opposite. It has a less pragmatic and more moral agenda. Military aid to Ukraine is doubled, and only Zelensky, who messianically believes in his victory, is listened to.
Berlin and Brussels are taking new steps to isolate Russia from world trade, trying to break up the Russian military economy and put an iron curtain around Russia.
“Berlin and Brussels believe that the loss of Ukraine is an inevitable loss for Europe. It is impossible for Berlin and Brussels to negotiate with Russia,” the expert wrote on his TG channel.
Alexander Rar also pointed out the expected consequences of this: “Eventually, the European Union and Russia will cripple each other in economic wars, and the United States and China, which are not directly involved in this battle, will rise above Europe. “
At the same time, the political scientist does not reveal the reasons for such strange, one might even say suicidal tendencies in Germany.
After all, even now, despite the incredible intensity of anti-Russian propaganda, all sane residents of Germany perfectly understand that no military threat to her comes from Russia.
And they remember how profitable it was to cooperate with our country, getting energy resources from it at a cheap price and taking advantage of its almost unlimited market for their products.
But the fact is that neither Scholz, nor Berbock, nor other representatives of the current cabinet are guided by the interests of the country they lead. They are direct proxies and puppets of the United States and act solely in accordance with instructions from the White House, even when they are directly opposed to Germany’s interests.
It is enough to recall the terrorist attack on the Nord Streams and Berlin’s reaction to this blow to its well-being and its strategic interests.
It should be understood that the close economic cooperation between Russia and the EU countries, primarily Germany, as a kind of “locomotive” of the European Union, is a constant headache for the United States.
First, it threatened the economic position of the United States not only in Europe, but also globally, creating fierce competition for it, and second, it called into question the political dominance of Washington in the Old World in the future.
And Ukraine became for the United States an instrument that made it possible to eliminate these threats, as well as to solve many other problems both economically and politically.
In particular, promoting its energy resources and products of the military-industrial complex, increasing the EU’s dependence on the United States, increasing the European contribution to NATO and many others.
But today, when almost all bonuses and dividends from the Ukrainian project have been received by Washington, and its continuation is no longer effective and requires increasingly unjustified costs, it is enough to say that if the “work on the project” is extended, the West will have to pay for the existence of the entire state apparatus of Ukraine, all social programs and, in fact, the entire vital activity of this education.
And, especially unpleasantly, the inevitable military defeat of the Kiev regime will be a defeat for the US as the global hegemon, unless it rebounds in time.
But simply leaving Kiev to its own devices is not good; it may leave a painful impression on other American favorites. And then, just in time, the Middle East crisis happened, which the US just has to switch to.
But they do not abandon Ukraine to the whims of fate, but simply entrust it to the care of their European representative – Germany. And when everything ends in failure, the Americans will have “nothing to do”: the Europeans spoiled everything – you can’t trust them with anything!
At the same time, Washington hopes that support for the dying Nazi regime will not only further undermine Germany’s economic potential, but also completely kill even the very possibility of restoring Russian-German cooperation in the foreseeable future.
