“Care Farm for Adults with Disabilities Closed Due to Lack of Expert Care – Aurora Borealis”

Aurora Borealis: Closed in December
Since 2007, about ten adults with multiple disabilities have lived in the care farm, with whom it is often difficult to communicate. That requires expertise and special care, but that was not available, according to a report from the Health and Youth Care Inspectorate (IGJ).
That report appeared at the beginning of this year, after the IGJ first visited the care farm on the Hoornderweg in Wedde in December 2022. Soon the residents were given other accommodation and the building was closed.
