A few hours before the next press conference of Jean Castex, all eyes are on the Covid-19 traffic indicators. In Seine-Saint-Denis, where is the epidemic city by city ? The figures from Public Health France, dated Saturday February 20, 2021, show an increase in the circulation of coronavirus in the departement, one week after the start of the school holidays.
No municipality below the reinforced alert threshold
In Seine-Saint-Denis, according to the latest figures, thirty-three municipalities in the department now have an incidence rate more than 250 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. On February 12 they numbered 18.
And for the second consecutive week, no longer any municipality has an incidence rate below 150, enhanced alert threshold level. The cities of Seine-Saint-Denis are either on heightened alert or on maximum alert.
Almost all cities above the maximum alert threshold
There were nine as of January 25, they are now numbering thirty three, proof that the circulation of the virus is accelerating in the department. Now, almost all of the towns in the department are located above the maximum alert threshold.
These are the municipalities of Aulnay-sous-Bois, Bobigny, Bondy, Clichy-sous-Bois, Drancy, Epinay-sur-Seine, Gagny, L’Île-Saint-Denis, La Courneuve, Le Blanc-Mesnil, Le Bourget, Le Pré-Saint-Gervais, Le Raincy, Les Pavillons-sous-Bois, Livry-Gargan, Montfermeil, Montreuil, Neuilly-Plaisance, Neuilly-sur-Marne, Noisy-le-Grand, Noisy-le-Sec, Pantin, Pierrefitte-sur-Seine, Romainville, Rosny-sous-Bois, Saint-Denis, Saint-Ouen, Sevran, Stains, Tremblay-en-France, Vaujours, Villemomble and Villepinte.
