Weeks go by and the counters continue to climb. Thursday March 25, 2021, coronavirus incidence rate, i.e. the number of cases per 100,000 inhabitants has reached 736 on Seine-Saint-Denis. This is the highest incidence rate in metropolitan France while the department has been under new confinement for a week.
An incidence rate of over 1,000 at Bondy
If this average is already very high at the national level, a city in Seine-Saint-Denis is breaking the incidence rate: Bondy. Since Monday March 22, 2021, its incidence rate has been greater than 1000. It is the only city in the department to have such a high rate. In France, only 4% of municipalities have a similar incidence rate.
All the other towns in the department have an incidence rate of between 500 and 1,000, with the exception of Coubron and Pavillons-sous-Bois which have a rate between 250 and 500.
