A New York tradition returns tonight, with no holds barred.
Cardinal Timothy Dolan will hold his annual midnight mass at St. Patrick’s Cathedral.
Dolan has been in charge of the Eucharist since 2009.
This is the first year since the start of the pandemic that mass has been celebrated without restrictions such as the wearing of masks.
Worshipers wishing to participate must obtain a ticket.
