The performance of Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B during the Grammy’s pissed off American conservatives …
This Sunday March 14 was marked by the 63rd Grammy Awards. An event during which Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B were talked about after their very “daring” performance of WAP. Provocative poses, sexy outfits… the spectacle did not please the conservative part of the United States, which was not shy to let it be known. Guest on Fox News the day after the show, Candace Owens, an American conservative journalist expressed her dismay at this sequence, explaining in particular that the song as the show contributed to the “destruction of American values”. An intervention to which Cardi B responded on Twitter with humor (especially since she had already dealt with Owens during the election of Biden), writing: “Yaaaayyyyyyy WE ARE ON FOX NEWS THE GUYS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wap wap wap!”, Before continuing with a 2nd message:“In fact, I’m just going to thank Candy. She put my performance on Fox News by giving it more exposure, which helped boost YouTube views, which count for my streams and sales.”, Specifying that only parents could control what their children were allowed to watch. “Nobody else !”, she concluded in her message, she who also prefers that her daughter Kulture does not listen to the song!

A virtual war
In 2 steps 3 movements, Candace Owens replied, engaging in a long exchange with the rapper still on the social network at the blue bird, explaining that she had no problem with the fact that she was successful, but that ‘she was opposed to her being: “used to encourage young women to deprive themselves of their dignity.” Very teasing, Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar continued to thank his interlocutor for the visibility she offered him with this rant : “Anyway, congratulations on your new show, hope you talk some more about WAP, I need it to reach a new audience to become 6 times platinum. Any exposure will help. I love you, Candy”. To illustrate her message, Cardi B had chosen a nude photo of the former first lady of the United States, Melania Trump, at the time when the latter was modeling. After all, why would Trump’s wife have the right to play charms, and the rapper duo not !?
I don’t work for Fox News, Belcalis, nor do I take issue with you having success.
I take issue with you being used to encourage young women to strip themselves of dignity.
Men typically treat women how they treat themselves.
You know that. https://t.co/1BZQOVTR6t— Candace Owens (@RealCandaceO) March 16, 2021

Personal attacks
If the attacks were pretty much fair play until then, the situation quickly escalated. And it was the 28-year-old rapper who threw the foundation stone, sharing a screenshot of an article that claimed Candace Owens’ husband had cheated on her with her brother, accompanying her statement from an alleged tweet in which the journalist confirmed the facts. Responding to Cardi B that the evidence was photoshoped, the curator then added: “Only one of us has a husband who sleeps right and left”, reference to rumors that Offset slept with other women. The interpreter ofUP meanwhile continued to press where it hurts by sharing a whole series of blog posts that touched on the bedtime that Candace’s husband and brother allegedly indulged in.
Not you talking about two women thrusting their vaginas together while your husband and brother slap cocks and balls together .WELL WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT !wow https://t.co/SvbnEXOOQF pic.twitter.com/kzzS6nVww9

A legal attack
The journalist was again explained on the articles published by these various blogs, arguing that the media had all been fooled by false evidence, edited by computer, and that none of this was true. She then announced she was suing the Bronx native for libel. : “Yes. I just spoke with my family. I’m going to sue Cardi 100% for this nonsense. You can’t start to pitch wild lies at my family members because you’re pissed off that someone called you out for your heinous performance”. The rapper then wondered what would be the valid reason to sue her given that many media have already shared the information in November. Kulture’s mom finally wrote on Twitter that if anyone were to sue the other, it had to be her for being wrongly accused of photoshoping images. An altercation which, you can imagine, caused quite a stir on social networks, while Cardi B preferred to delete her tweets !!!
Yes. Just spoke with my family. I am 100% suing Cardi for that nonsense. You can’t just start throwing out wild lies against private members of my family because you’re upset someone called your out on your degenerate performance.
I‘ll keep you all posted. https://t.co/v2aisvQiOG— Candace Owens (@RealCandaceO) March 16, 2021
