For the first time, the Artesanía de Autor (Handicrafts of Author) is coming to Cardenete with a unique fair full of tradition and creativity. The beauty and authenticity of traditional crafts will be present in Cardenete for the first time on the 23rd, 24th and 25th of August. Artesanía de Autor (Handicrafts of Author), a collective of twenty expert artisans, will transform the Calle Iglesia of this charming town into a vibrant space of creativity and manual dexterity.
This event will be an exceptional opportunity for visitors and locals to discover the magic of handmade crafts. Each stand will offer unique pieces, made with dedication, patience and love, showing live the creation processes that make each work a true artisanal jewel. From wood carving to leather braiding, artisans will be working at their stands, ready to share their techniques and secrets with the public.
Children can also take part in craft workshops, create their own works, enjoy activities such as giant soap bubbles and have a fun time in the playroom.
The potter, one of the most eagerly awaited artisans, will invite visitors to try their hand at the pottery wheel, offering them the chance to create a bowl or glass with their own hands.
