That was the case of the renowned journalist Andreina Solorzano, who said that for almost five years she wanted to become a mother, but he had not succeeded.

“I wanted to be a mother for many years. Since my husband Jesús and I got married in 2019, we have been trying to have a baby. But you know that some couples find this wish elusive. But God knows what he is doing and he arrived at the right time. After a long search, he is a very desired baby,” explained Andreína Solórzano in an interview with the television program La Red.

Although they initially tried to conceive naturally, the truth is that they were not able to do so and that is why they had to seek professional help and in vitro fertilization methodHowever, pregnancy did not occur as soon as she would have liked.

“It was a long road trying one fertility method after another.. I went to more than one fertility clinic, and nothing went well for me.”the journalist indicated.

She explained that this was because she had suffered from a complex medical condition that forced her to undergo two surgeries. “It is a condition that is very common in women and they don’t know it. It is a silent condition that is endometriosis,” said Andreína, who added that this can hinder the possibility of getting pregnant.

What is endometriosis?

According to the Mayo Clinic, a prestigious health organization in the United States, this condition occurs in women when tissue that is very similar to the tissue that lines the inside of the uterus begins to grow outside of it.

“It is a problem that needs to be addressed before one thinks about getting pregnant. “It is for the uterus to be healthy and fit to host life,” said Andreína.

Andreína does not rule out opting for adoption

Today, Andreína is already five months pregnant and, according to what she told La Red, her baby would be born at the end of next December. In addition, she indicated that she has already been informed that she will have to opt for a cesarean section.

Finally, she said that when she realized the difficulties she was having in getting pregnant, she even considered opting for adoption.

“I have wanted to adopt all my life. I still haven’t ruled out that option. I would like to have several children. I may not be old enough, so I think I might adopt too,” the journalist concluded.
