The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, indicated that the Capital District registers this Sunday, the maximum peak of positive cases due to Covid-19 coronavirus.

In this sense, the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, reported that a total of 1,148 new cases of covid-19 were detected in the country in the last 24 hours, 1,097 of community transmission and 51 imported cases, to reach a total of 33,755 patients infected by the outbreak.
Rodríguez explained that the Capital District registered its highest peak of infected this Sunday, after detecting 399 infected by the outbreak; followed by Vargas (197), Miranda (168) and Nueva Esparta (136), Zulia (60), Anzoátegui (26), Aragua (20), Barinas (19), Falcón (18), Guárico (17), Apure ( 15) Cojedes (10), Portuguesa (8) Lara (3) and Amazonas (1).
The vice president indicated that 49 are from Colombia, so the New Granada country already accumulates more than 5,000 cases in Venezuela.
The number of recovered, for its part, already reaches 22,700 people, which represents 67% of the total cases of Covid-19 in the country.
He added that Venezuela registers 10,774 active cases to date.
On the other hand, the national leader reported the death of five people who died in the last 24 hours: 03 from Aragua state, 01 from Táchira state and 01 from Sucre state.
