Carabinieri in church to help elderly against scams

(ANSA) – AVELLINO, SEPTEMBER 22 – The Carabinieri in church to explain to the elderly how to defend themselves from scams. It happened in Torella dei Lombardi, in the Avellino area, where at the end of the mass celebrated by Monsignor Pasquale Cascio, archbishop of Sant’Angelo dei Lombardi-Conza-Nusco-Bisaccia, the commander of the local Carabinieri station intervened to offer advice on how to avoid being defrauded by scammers, who especially target older people.
