The request considers a nominal readjustment of 7.5% for the period from December 2021 to November 2022, for all people who work in the public sector. The document defends the sectors with lower salaries, for which he proposes a bonus of $ 65 thousand for all those who have a gross monthly salary less than $ 750,000 and who work full-time, while those who work part-time would receive a proportional amount.
They also propose salary floors, so that as of December 1 of this year, the assistants do not receive an amount less than $ 444,294, the administrative ones not less than $ 494,457 and $ 525,987 for the technicians.
Regarding the health sector, Patricia Valderas, highlights that they request the fulfillment of last year’s request that was not fulfilled. Among some aspects are the recovery of 100% of the vacation bonus, since last year they only received 50%. Improve the budget for childcare, including the construction of kindergartens, nurseries and school clubs, for the children of female employees.
The leaders of the Public Sector Table will meet again this Thursday, to define the steps to follow, without ruling out strikes and mobilizations at the national level, if necessary.
