A Carabineros official died this monday night after shooting himself in the skull inside the Centinela checkpoint, belonging to the 5th police station of Yumbel, in the province of Biobío.
According to a part issued from the institution itself, the cash was transferred in a serious condition to the Yumbel Hospital and he was going to be referred to Los Angeles. However, as a result of the injury caused by the shooting, the official lost his life while receiving medical attention.
