A car with a woman and three children in it overturned in a collision in Maarheeze on Tuesday afternoon. The driver, like the driver of another car, was taken to the hospital. The three children escaped unharmed, a 112 correspondent reported.
A woman wanted to leave the exit of the A2 at Maarheeze with her car around half past three in the afternoon and enter the Kleine Bruggen. She probably missed another car. Inside were the woman with three children. The two cars collided, after which the car with the four occupants overturned.

Several ambulances came to the scene of the accident. Medics examined all passengers, after which it was decided to take the two drivers to hospital. The three children were unharmed and were given a teddy bear by the emergency services.
The intersection at the exit and access ramp of the A2 Maarheeze is closed to traffic. Police are investigating exactly how the accident happened.
