The death toll was due to a fatal accident of a Toyota Innova car and a tronton truck on the toll road Karanganyar increased to four people. The accident was suspected because the Innova driver was sleepy and tired.
“Four people died,” said Secretary of NU Ranting Girirejo, Tegalrejo District, As’at at the funeral home, reported detikJatengSaturday (25/2/2023).
Kasat Then Karanganyar Police AKP Aliet Alphard said the accident occurred on the Solo-Kertosono Toll road Km 512 + 800 Line B, Karangturi Hamlet, Gondangrejo District, Karanganyar Regency. Aliet said that Innova hit the truck from behind because the driver was sleepy.
“After arriving at the scene of the crime, it was suspected that the driver of the Toyota Innova car was tired and sleepy. Then he hit the rear right side of a Hino tronton truck and an accident occurred,” he said.
The accident occurred around 03.05 WIB in the morning. The two vehicles were traveling from the east or the Ngawi direction heading west to Solo.
The four victims who died were Gus Afan Mufti who is also the Chairperson of the Tanfidsiyah MWC NU Tegalrejo, Ms. Nisa (sister), Ms. Azmi (daughter of Gus Afan) and Mas Amsal (son of Ms. Nisa).
