Amsterdam – International drug gangs appear to be very fond of Dutch (ex-) leased cars. Criminals buy hand-offs from business drivers en masse here, settle with cash and then export them again, in order to launder their drug money. For example, a member of a Lebanese drug syndicate bought some ten million euros in cash in Hoogeveen a few years ago.
