A car crashed into the sea at Pier 2 peacock harbour, Banten, when they were about to enter KMP Shalem. Two people were rushed to hospital following the incident.
It is not yet known exactly what caused the car to crash, but the crash happened at around 10.15pm WIB. The car is in place ramp door ship before finally falling into the sea.
“Yes, car dip, we don’t know that we don’t have (full history) towards the lawsuit,” said Banten Basarnas operations chief Heru Amir when confirmed, on Friday (23/12/2022).
Heru said that while Basarnas was receiving information, there were two people in the car, 1 woman and 1 man. The two victims were rescued by the joint SAR Team.
“So a complete chronology has not been obtained, the victim fell on the ramp door as he was about to board the ship, thank God we can evaluate it together with the others, there were two victims, 1 male and 1 female,” he said. She said.
The female victim was rushed to Pulomerak Health Center and the other victims were taken to Krakatau Medika Hospital.
“The women were taken to Merak Health Center, the men were taken to KS Hospital because they were unconscious,” she said.
