Unfortunately, Covid continues to have negative repercussions, both in terms of social relations and the management of finances personal. From food to bills, on the other hand, there are really many items that affect the family budget. These include those concerning theauto, such as insurance, fuel and the car tax.
Well, precisely about the latter it is good to know that there are many motorists who can benefit from the relative amnesty. An undoubtedly important decision, through which the government has decided to give taxpayers a little respite struggling with old tax bills. So let’s go into the details and see what there is to know about it.
Car tax, the amnesty of the folders under 5 thousand euros arrives
The government recently decided to approve a number of contributions in support of the categories most affected by the crisis caused by the impact of Covid. But not only that, thanks to the Sostegni Decree it also approved the cancellation of tax bills, up to 5 thousand euros, relating to the period from 2000 to 2010 for people with an income, in 2019, of less than 30 thousand euros. In this way, many are able to say goodbye to some old past debts, including their own old unpaid car stamps.
With regard to the possibility of being able to take advantage of the amnesty, we remind you that reference is made to date of the tax bill and not when the car tax has not been paid. Furthermore, no request must be made to obtain the cancellation of these past debts. Everything will happen in the way automatic, with the Revenue Agency – Collection which sent the list of tax codes of taxpayers potentially affected by this mini amnesty to the Revenue Agency by last August 20.

In this way the Revenue Agency, through a cross-check of the data, identifies the subjects in possession of the income requirements required. The deadline for this procedure is August 30th. The Collection Agency, therefore, will automatically cancel the roles within the next October 31st. However, we will have to wait for the November 30, for the collection agent to notify the bodies concerned of the cancellation of the bills. Only starting from 1 December, therefore, the interested parties will be able to check their debt position, simply by accessing the website of the institution.
