Two men came up with a supposedly great idea: a car should be reported as stolen, and the sum insured should then be collected. However, the car was not stolen at all, it was “discarded” in nature, the interior of the vehicle was to be sold when grass has grown over the matter again. One of the two got cold feet and reported the fraud to the Diez police.
