As reported by the General Assistance Center, on Friday around 7 p.m. 31 minutes a notification was received that in Kaunas, St. Gertrudos St., a car overturned, a person is trapped.
The Kaunas fire rescue team, as well as the Kaunas county ambulance doctors and officials, were sent to the scene.
In the Situation Coordination Department of the Fire Protection and Rescue Department lrytas.lt learned that when the firefighters arrived, the information was confirmed – a person was trapped in an overturned Toyota car.
Firefighters used special rescue equipment, freed the person and handed him over to medics.
According to preliminary data, when two cars collided, the BMW Toyota pushed the other car off the road, this car rolled and stopped, overturned on its side and the roof crashed into the wall of the building.
The police are still investigating how exactly the accident happened.
