7 SU 29 – As every year, the awarding of the prestigious award is approaching Car of the Year 2021 which elects the most interesting novelty among the cars presented over the last 12 months. A highly coveted award by car manufacturers who offer an international jury of 60 journalists from the most important European magazines, including the director of alVolante Guido Costantini, the best of their production. The 7 finalists from a list of 29 models were recently selected. In detail, here are the chosen ones:
AN IMPORTANT ACKNOWLEDGMENT – As you can see, it is a rather heterogeneous group of models that very often have little or nothing in common. Because the winner will always have to offer a series of qualities in terms of innovation, overall assembly, functionality and performance. Characteristics that naturally go beyond the class they belong to. In short, an important recognition that is regularly renewed every year since 1964 and that for the first time due to the cancellation of the Geneva Motor Show 2021 (for the events related to the coronvirus pandemic) will no longer be held in that historic venue. This year a final vote is therefore expected at the end of February: the winner will be announced during the event in streaming on Monday 1 March.
