Valters Zelčs, the head of the Association for Sustainable Agriculture and Rural Environment, travels on a daily basis with a compact all-terrain vehicle, albeit with a traditional power transmission. He begins his acquaintance with rechargeable hybrids with the most powerful vehicle – the 306 hp Toyota RAV4.
“First impressions. The machine is soft, runs fantastically,” says Walter Zelch, head of the Association for Sustainable Agriculture and the Rural Environment.
Toyota is well versed in balancing the truck. The most powerful RAV4 of all time sticks to the narrow road as glued. Valters also likes the luxurious salon. There is no other hybrid at all, as it is only available in the two most expensive RAV4 configurations.
But how does the Tiguan e-Hybrid drive?
“Well, Tiguan feels noticeably tougher. Power? At times it took a stricter boost.”
With R Line complete 19-inch tires – I think so! The 1.5-liter turbomotor with 150 hp and 85 kW electric motor together give unmatched power – 245 hp.
With an empty battery, as with an empty stomach, there is no plowing. From the normal household network Volkswagen 9 kilowatt-hour battery should be full in 5 hours, Toyota’s 18 kvh stock should be all seven. And that’s not the only difference ….
