POSITIVE TREND – The month of November 2023 was positive for the car market in Italy, which with 139,278 registrations and an increase of 16.2% compared to November 2022, continues its growth. In the first eleven months of 2023, 1,455,271 cars were registered, with a growth of 20.1% compared to the 1,211,808 in the same period of 2022. A difference of more than 243,500 cars, but over 321,000 less than January-November 2019 (-18.1%), pre-Covid period.
TYPES OF POWER SUPPLY – Cars with petrol engines gas are stable, with a share of 27.8% (28.1% in the first 11 months), while the diesel they drop to 14.7% share (-3.4%) and to 17.9% in January-November. THE BUILDERS – Stellar confirmed itself in first place with 41,092 registrations (+10.13%). Alfa Romeo did well +71.68%, Jeep +26.95, Opel (+20.33) and Lancia (+11.12%). Second place for Volkswagen Group at 20,870 cars, which records a growth of 4.98%, third for the Gruppo Renault with 16,332 registrations (+31.58). The Toyota Group also performed well, with 10,415 cars and +10.39%, Nissan, which recorded +134% with 4,367 cars, and MG which recorded +185.71% with 3,080 units. Tesla also continues to grow, registering 2,710 cars, with a +144.58%.
