A young woman landed her car in the track bed of the tram in Berlin-Rosenthal after braking on a slippery road. The 20-year-old was scared on Sunday night, her passenger was slightly injured, a police spokesman said on Sunday. The two had been on Friedrich-Engels-Strasse in the direction of Kastanienallee that night. The driver suddenly had to reduce her speed on the slippery road and lost control of her car.
The car went off the lane to the left, first hit the mast of a traffic sign and then came to a stop on the track bed. According to the information, a BVG recovery vehicle took out the car and Friedrich-Engels-Strasse was temporarily closed.
