THE DANCES ARE OPENED – The publication of the incentive decree in the Official Gazette is expected tonight. Therefore, starting tomorrow, the concessionaires will be able to sign new contracts with the disbursement of the bonus expected for the purchase of new cars. While the availability of the MISE IT platform, through which concessionaires will be able to book the contribution, should take place on 25 May at 10 am. reservations.

AND CATEGORY 0-20 E 21-60 G/KM – The incentives as usual, they will be divided into emission “thresholds”, calculated in grams of CO2 per km. For electric vehicles, which therefore fall within the range 0-20 g / kmthe decree provides for 220 million in 2022. The total contribution is 5.000 euro payable in the event of scrapping of a vehicle of a class below Euro 5 (3,000 contribution without scrapping). The maximum price of the vehicle must be equal to or less than 35,000 euros (plus VAT). For vehicles falling within the emission band 21-60 g/kmtherefore the plug-in hybrids, the decree provides for a maximum price threshold of 45,000 euros (to which VAT must be added), and a contribution of 4.000 euro in the event of scrapping of a vehicle of a class below Euro 5 (2,000 without a vehicle to be scrapped). In this case the coverage is 225 million in 2022.

THE CATEGORY 61-135 G/KM – Finally, for vehicles that fall within the emission class 61-135 g/kmtherefore diesel and gasoline Euro 6 cars, including “full” hybrid and light hybrid ones, but also methane and LPG, a maximum contribution of 2.000 euro payable only in case of scrapping of a vehicle of a class lower than 5 euros. The maximum price of the vehicle is 35,000 euros (plus VAT). The financial coverage for vehicles belonging to this emission class is 170 million euros. By virtue of this financial backing, these 170 million euros are likely to last a few weeks.

KEEP AT LEAST ONE YEAR – To specify which buyer must hold per at least one year the car bought with incentives and that, in the event of a vehicle being scrapped, it must have been in the name of the user for at least 12 months.

FOR THE THREE YEARS – The incentives 2022 will end on 31 December, however the government decree governs contributions for an entire three-year period (2022-2024), with the following coverage: for electric vehicles, which therefore fall within the 0-20 g / km range, the decree provides for 230 million in 2023 and 245 million in 2024; for cars that fall within the 21-60 g / km emission range, 235 million in 2023 and 245 million in 2024.
