Car hits house in Kerkdriel, police are looking for occupant

A delivery van hit a house in Kerkdriel last night. An occupant of the car was found nearby and was taken to hospital injured. The police assume that there was a second occupant who would have taken off. As far as is known, it has not yet been found.

In the accident at the beginning of the evening, the house on a dike was badly damaged. The facade is broken in several places and there is a large hole in the wall. According to Gelderland broadcaster the residents are not allowed to enter a part of the house.

The van may have driven straight ahead on the dike in a bend and came to a stop against the house.
