Car flashed at 192 km / h on federal road in Schrems – Lower Austria

That will be expensive! The police caught a driver on Saturday evening who was on the Waldviertler Straße almost twice as fast as allowed.

Police officers of the inspection in Schrems (district of Gmünd) carried out checks on the federal highway 2 between Langschwarza and Schrems with a laser measuring device on Saturday evening. At around 6:00 p.m. they caught a self-proclaimed racing driver in the municipality of Schrems.

92 km / h too fast

The car with Austrian registration was measured at a driving speed of 192 km / h with a permitted maximum speed of 100 km / h. To start the persecution made little sense.

The driver is shown to the Gmünd district administration, and the man (or possibly the woman) at the wheel will probably be allowed to say goodbye to his driver’s license for a while.
