KOOTSTERTILLE – A car ended up in the water at the local slipway in Kootstertille on Wednesday afternoon. The driver wanted to launch the boat and suddenly the handbrake gave way while the man wanted to free the boat.
The car rolled into the water with trailer and boat.
Colleagues from the car wrecker helped the man. The combination was pulled out of the water again with a shovel. While the colleagues handled everything with the car and trailer, the skipper left to go sailing.
The bon vivant was later spotted on the terrace of Little Switzerland.
