At 2254 the West police district received a report of a car that had driven off the road in Bjørnafjorden.
The car was partly in the sea, the police said on X (formerly Twitter).
The descent must have taken place at Fusavegen by Bjåneset.
A man in his 20s was in the car when it happened.
A woman in her 20s was in the car just before the incident, but got out of the car before it went off the road, the police write.
Transported to Haukeland
The police further reported that both people were suspected of being under the influence of drugs.
The woman was taken to the emergency room in an ambulance. The man was taken to Haukeland Hospital by air ambulance.
Both were conscious and in dialogue with the emergency centres, but the extent of the damage is currently unknown.
– We have gained control, everything has been checked and approved and we are almost done. The car is partly in the water and car rescuers are needed, the 110 duty commander reports.
