The cyclist from Steinebach was riding his racing bike on the bike path along State Road 2070 from Hechendorf in the direction of Wörthsee as required. The car driver wanted to turn left from Wörthseestrasse onto State Road 2070 in the direction of Hechendorf. When entering, the car driver failed to see the racing cyclist coming from the left. The racing cyclist tried to swerve to the left, but the evasive maneuver caused him to fall in front of the car. The cyclist was slightly injured and was taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance. The racing bike suffered material damage amounting to around 300 euros.

Rude overtaking driver causes cyclist to fall

3. August: Cyclists and motorcyclists should actually have a 360-degree view, or alternatively constantly look in the rearview mirror – if they have one. If the two older pedelec riders had had a rearview mirror on their e-bike, they would probably have seen the rowdy who overtook them when turning. The 72-year-old cyclist and her 60-year-old companion wanted to turn left into a parking lot on the road from Inning to Stegen and had therefore positioned themselves correctly in the middle of the road. The driver, who was probably driving a small van or van, did not pay attention to the left-turning vehicles and overtook them. The cyclist was so frightened when overtaking that she fell and fractured her face. Her companion also fell off his bike, but was only slightly injured. There does not appear to have been any contact with the car. The accident happened on Saturday at around 11 a.m. The Herrsching police station is asking for witnesses to call 08152/9302-0.

Police delighted: 13-year-old catches hit-and-run driver

12. July: It is not every day that the police are really impressed by a 13-year-old student. The Dießen police station even refers to a “young gentleman” in its report. The “young gentleman” had observed a woman in Greifenberg ramming her car into a parked vehicle at 3:10 p.m. The accident caused damage in the low four-figure range. The woman fled without worrying about her legal and moral obligations. The 13-year-old from Türkenfeld acted quickly and courageously, pulled out his cell phone and took pictures of the woman and the vehicle. Thanks to these photos, the police officers were able to quickly identify the 36-year-old driver. Disturbed man attacks police officer on transport ride

June 18: Last week, a 32-year-old mentally ill man from Seefeld was to be transported to the psychiatric clinic in Gauting. For safety reasons, a policewoman accompanied the transport in the ambulance. Another officer followed the ambulance in the patrol car. On the way in Eichenallee in Seefeld, the patient suddenly no longer agreed with his impending placement in the clinic, he unbuckled his seatbelt and wanted to get out. The driver of the BRK vehicle had no choice but to stop. When the Seefeld patient jumped out of the van, he met the second policewoman, who was initially able to back away from him, but then fell to the ground. The man beat her in this helpless position with his hands and fists and hit her in the face. Her colleague from the ambulance tried to stop the man with her baton, but unfortunately was unsuccessful. Only with the combined efforts of another citizen was it possible to pull the violent patient away from the defenseless policewoman and hold him. The officer was injured and is currently unfit for duty. She is receiving medical treatment, the mentally ill man was then handcuffed by other police officers from other departments and taken to the hospital. During the operation, there were traffic jams on the state road. The police are now investigating the Seefeld man for intentional bodily harm and an assault on police officers. Experts and judges will then decide on his sanity.
