On Saturday afternoon, October 1, 2022, a police patrol checked a 45-year-old motorist whose vehicle had a red license plate. When asked, the man from Einbeck stated that he wanted to “burn freely” a newly installed turbocharger. However, as this trip was not a so-called test drive or transfer drive and the driver did not have a registration card for this license plate with him, it is suspected that the car was driven on public roads without compulsory insurance. A criminal investigation was launched against the driver.
