The Eberstadt police are looking for witnesses with relevant information for the progress of investigations in connection with the damage to property of a car.
According to initial findings, unknown perpetrators severely damaged a black Hyundai parked on Löfflerweg between 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. last Wednesday (May 25) with stones and blows from a stick, distributed over all sides of the vehicle. The total damage caused by the scratches and dents should amount to several thousand euros. Because the act apparently happened in broad daylight between other parked cars that remained unharmed, the investigators are hoping for clues to the perpetrators.
Witnesses who were able to observe something suspicious in this context or who can provide other relevant information are asked to contact the police station in Eberstadt (phone number 06151/969-41500).
