NEW YORK – A piece of heavy-duty construction equipment collapsed at a nearby home in the Bronx on Monday afternoon, injuring no one, according to initial information, but causing significant damage to the home, authorities say.
Building Department investigators responded to the crash site on Colden Avenue in Allerton at around 2:00 PM. It wasn’t clear how the post driver flipped over, but it landed on the roof and porch of the adjacent property.
The investigation is ongoing.
