The accident occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Ulftseweg. Emergency services were quickly on the scene and closed the road immediately.
At the same time, firefighters were working to cut the door out of the car so they could get the injured driver out of the car. The victim was taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
A salvage company has since removed the car. The Ulftseweg is also open again.
