Car on fire in Verdellino on the morning of Sunday 31 July. The alarm went off shortly after 11 in via Garibaldi. A 59-year-old man from the village saw smoke coming out of the car while he was driving his Renault Megane Scenic, pulled over and got out and managed to escape before the car was engulfed in flames. Firefighters intervened on the spot and put out the flames. The car was completely destroyed.
