For the “car bonus”, 300 million euros of new incentives could arrive. In fact, among the amendments to the Dl Sostegni bis, there is also a refinancing of the contributions for the purchase of low-emission cars, given that most of those already allocated have been disbursed in the first months of the year.
Car bonus, possible other incentives from the Dl Sostegni bis: refinancing
From the resources foreseen in the first package of amendments to Sostegni bis decree, expected to vote in the Budget Committee in the House from 6 July in the new elaboration, would remain another 50 million euros for hybrid and electric vehicles.
With the entry into force of the decree by 25 July, the new fund for eco-incentives topurchase of less polluting cars, through the scrapping of old vehicles, should therefore include:
- 50 million euros for the so-called extra-bonus on cars up to 60 g / km of emissions, regardless of scrapping
- 100 million for new cars in the 61-135 g / km range, with the scrapping of a car registered for at least ten years
- 100 million for the latest generation Euro 6 used cars in the 0-160 g / km range
Car bonuses, other possible incentives from the Support Decree bis: categories
The incentives expected for those who buy a new car by 31 December 2021 should therefore be restarted according to these criteria:
- carbon dioxide emissions from 0 to 20 g / km, with scrapping of a vehicle of the same category (under Euro 6) and registered before January 1, 2011: 8 thousand euros plus 2 thousand from the dealer;
- carbon dioxide emissions from 0 to 20 g / km without scrapping: 5 thousand euros plus one thousand from the dealer;
- carbon dioxide emissions from 21 to 60 g / km, with the scrapping of a vehicle of the same category (under Euro 6) and registered before January 1, 2011: 4,500 euros plus 2 thousand from the dealer;
- carbon dioxide emissions from 21 to 60 g / km without scrapping: 2,500 euros plus a thousand from the dealer;
- carbon dioxide emissions from 61 to 135 g / km with scrapping: 1,500 euros for the state plus 2,000 euros for the dealer;
- carbon dioxide emissions from 0 to 60 g / km for the purchase of used cars with scrapping: 4,500 euros;
- 61 90 g / km carbon dioxide emissions for the purchase of scrapped used cars: 3,000 euros;
- carbon dioxide emissions from 91-160 g / km for the purchase of scrapped used cars: 2,500 euros.

Three in requirements that the vehicle must comply with in order to access the “car bonus”, directly as a discount through the dealer:
- must have up to eight passenger seats;
- must be registered by 31 December 2021;
- it must cost no more than 61 thousand euros, including VAT.
