Bologna, May 14, 2022 – From Monday 16 May away to the highly anticipated incentives for non-polluting cars and motorcycles with discounts that can reach up to 5 thousand euros. All ready also in Emilia Romagna given that, if the platform’s operation will start from 25 May (the decree published in the Official Gazette will be immediately operational), the sales contracts will be valid already from 16 May also in our region. So for those who will buy hybrid cars and non-polluting motorcycles in Emilia Romagna, as in the rest of Italy, will be able to take advantage of the coveted discount as early as Monday 16 May.
The decree

Hybrid, electric and traditional cars: that’s how much the discount will be
For the purchase of electric cars you will get a contribution of 3 thousand euros for vehicles that cost up to 35 thousand euros plus VAT to which a possible deduction of an additional 2 thousand euros thanks to the scrapping of a car below Euro5. As for the purchase of a hybrid vehicle plung-in you can have a contribution of 2 thousand euros on the price of the vehicle worth 45 thousand euros (more and more VAT). And the same goes for scrapping: in fact, a further contribution of 2 thousand euros will be obtained in the event of scrapping. As for the purchase of a vehicle with traditional low-emission engine and in some types of mild hybrid and full hybrid with a price of up to 35 thousand euros plus VAT, it is possible to request a contribution of 2 thousand euros only with scrapping.
Green mopeds and motorcycles
It is expected instead a 5% discount from the seller and a contribution of 40% of the purchase price and up to 2,500 euros with scrapping for the purchase of new mopeds and thermal motorcycles (categories L1e, L2e, L3e, L4e, L5e, L6e, L7e).
Discounts in Emilia Romagna for the purchase of low-polluting vehicles
As in all other regions of Italy, ours has also provided a series of concessions to incentivize the purchase of electric and hybrid cars obviously with the bonuses that will be triggered nationwide. Reduced stamps: electric vehicles enjoy exemption from the payment of motor vehicle taxes for 5 years from the date of first registration.
