NEW YORK – At least 7 people were injured Wednesday afternoon after a vehicle overturned in the Bronx, the New York City Fire Department announced.
According to preliminary information, some of those injured were pedestrians. It is unknown how many people were inside the car.
The incident occurred at about 4:19 p.m. at the intersection of E Fordham Rd and E Kingsbridge Rd, in the Fordham Manor neighborhood, and two of the injured were transported to St Barnabas Hospital and one to Jacobi, authorities said. The condition of the victims and their age are unknown.
No information has been given about the cause of the accident.
This is a case under investigation.
