A car lost control when it was going to perform a so-called burnout during a street race meet at the Bäckebol shopping center in Gothenburg and drove into a group of spectators. A major rescue effort is underway on Saturday evening at the site, reports Gothenburg Post.
Five people have been taken to hospital, according to the newspaper.
The incident occurred just after 9 p.m., and several hundred people are said to have been present.
Several ambulances were sent to the scene.
The Bäckebol shopping center is located at Hisingen in Gothenburg.
