Good wine needs no garland, and excellent water certainly not. Anyone who knows Zaan’s water has it flowing through their veins.

It cannot be a coincidence that water photographer Daniëlle van der Erve has settled in Zaanstad. Every month she shares water with us. From the river, a ditch, a lake or a pond, but always Zaans.
Danielle:
While walking to the exhibition “Stroom” in the Zaans museum (again to view/listen to everything carefully) at the Zaansche Schans, this image appeared. Lily leaves that reminded me of the four-leaf clover and sunlight that turns gold in the shadow of a bridge. That was a nice meeting.”
