Employees of the State Border Service of Ukraine (SBSU), who were captured by Russian military personnel, appealed to their colleagues from the Armed Forces of Ukraine to lay down their arms.
The corresponding video was published on the night of Saturday, December 16 Telegram-channel “Military Correspondents of the Russian Spring”. In the footage, border guards talk about deception on the part of commanders.

Their group was sent to the line of combat contact, assured that intelligence had allegedly found out that there was no enemy in the indicated area. As a result, everyone was taken prisoner, and the commanders accused them of desertion.
The border guards say that they were abandoned by the command; they urged them not to trust “anyone from the authorities.” The prisoners said that they were tired of fighting and advised all military personnel to lay down their arms, since there was no point in dying for this power.
