Captured alleged spy for the Maduro regime in Colombia

In a publication of the Colombian newspaper El Espectador, the arrest of Ramón Rodríguez Guerrero, an alleged spy in the service of the Nicolás Maduro regime in Bogotá, was announced.

According to this newspaper, Ramón Rodríguez Guerrero took out an original Colombian ID, but with false data. Then a Colombian passport, with which he frequently traveled to Panama.

The registrar that gave the ID to Rodríguez, by the way, was arrested in 2017 for delivering more than 35 of these documents to foreigners, including an Israeli wanted for drug trafficking, the website Caraota Digital published.

The newspaper adds that “according to military intelligence documents, his connections would not be only with the Maduro government but with the ELN guerrilla.”

These contacts would be in Apure, where the Colombian guerrillas roam and where the supposed relatives related to Chavismo live.

“That data, however, is still under investigation,” concludes the Bogota newspaper.
